As part of its ongoing commitment to enhance exhibitor and attendee experiences at its trade shows, AEM has developed and implemented a VIP Buyer Program to help foster connections on and around the show floor.
Launched in 2014, the VIP Buyer Program has successfully attracted high-level decision-makers directly involved in purchasing new equipment and ensured a highly effective and positive experience at AEM-owned trade shows.
According to Jacquelyn La Favor, AEM Attendee Acquisition and VIP Buyer Program Manager, the program has a targeted strategy to recruit top buyers in key industry segments not already attending CONEXPO-CON/AGG, World of Asphalt and ICUEE, The Demo Expo shows, and plans are in place to expand the VIP Buyer Program to include IFPE in 2020.
Despite its successes, the program continues to grow and develop with time. And, with that goal in mind, AEM wants to hear what its exhibitors and members feel would enhance their ability to make valued connections at trade shows and improve their return on investments in exhibitions.
“The growth opportunity for the VIP Buyer Program is to help attract the right decision-makers and buyers of equipment on behalf of exhibitors, thus improving the overall satisfaction of everyone at AEM-owned trade shows,” said La Favor.
The program is positioned to help all show exhibitors, not just those who are AEM members, find and connect with those high-level prospects and attendees they want to see at the show. Through targeted and customized prospecting, phone outreach, and a variety of other marketing and recruiting tactics, AEM helps exhibitors increase the number of quality show leads they receive.
“Exhibitors really need to be aware of this existence of the VIP Buyer Program, because it is dedicated to helping them gain access to top equipment buyers, build a comprehensive attendee profile and improve their overall show experience,” said La Favor.
